Boiler Economizers / Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs)
HPI's power generation and industrial services include the supply of boiler economizers and heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) for any type of boiler, including bare tube, bar-fin tube, spiral wound, H-fin, and more.
Both our boiler economizers and heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) packages are supplied turnkey on grassroots plants, and also as a retrofit to existing simple-cycle facilities previously supplied by others. Both are candidates for the heat recovery packages designed and offered by HPI. Where greater boiler efficiencies are required, HPI can assist in the design, selection and installation of boiler economizer packages that best suit the client's needs to reduce fuel costs per unit of heat output.
Boiler Control Systems
Turnkey boiler control systems are dedicated to boiler control and steam generator optimization, including flow measurement for fuel gas and combustion air, and percent oxygen blend. Specialized advanced control schemes and custom burner tips may be proposed for NOx reduction, HFO applications, and alternative fuel use (biodiesel, glycerin, etc.)
Burner Management Systems (BMS)
Burner Management Systems (BMS) for automatic and semiautomatic operation controlling the light-off sequence and shutdown modes as well as lockout/permissive modes for restart of the boiler or furnace after any safety shutdown. Burner operation will be controlled at the BMS local control panel is often provided in addition to a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) package or centralized Diributed Control System (DCS).
