HPI is a technological leader in the supply of turbomachinery controls , for both the OEM and retrofit markets. HPI uses professional project teams with extensive experience in design of hardware and software, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning and supporting of turbine control systems . HPI is the industry leader in the manufacturing and implementation of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for industrial power generation, mechanical drive, and steam turbine systems. The HPI engineering, project, organization and management teams have been proven through many years of providing turbomachinery as well as turbine control retrofits and are comprised of highly qualified personnel who fully understand the demands of the industry.
In addition to supplying and supporting its own designs, HPI also supports equipment supplied by the ex-Hawker Siddeley Dynamics Engineering, HSDE, and Vosper Thornycroft Controls, VTC, companies. This takes the form of off and on-site support, diagnostics, spares, and repairs for the DIGICON® family of controls and fuel valves.

HPI's power generation and industrial services include the supply of boiler control systems, boiler economizers, heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) & burner management systems (BMS).

Mobile, Portable Industrial Generators
HPI also supplies a range of industrial mobile, transportable and fixed turbo-generator sets powered by both industrial and aero derivative gas turbines. Power ranges from 1.2 MW to 25 MW are available in both 50 and 60 Hz configurations.

HPI has been recognized as one of the FastTech 50, and is also a recipient of the exclusive Enterprise Champion Award. The Takoradi T-3 power plant project in Abouadzie, Ghana launched this past week. Ghana’s technical project team met with HPI in Houston the week of 9 November to review major project details.
